In Beijing, at 11:00 on April 21, Minister of Transport of Thailand Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Thailand ITD (Italian-Thailand Development Co., Ltd),chairman of construction company Group President Premchai Karnasuta and I Yuyou Fei witness, Lt. Sutthisan Hatthawong president of the Port Authority of Thailand, Pipat Lorach vice president of the construction company and the Thai ITD Henan Weihua, chairman Zheng Jie for a hotel in Bangkok, Amari signed the Port Authority of Thailand Laem Chabang Port (LAEM CHABANG PORT) container terminal infrastructure and equipment contract. Weihua will be the new Port Authority of Thailand Laem Chabang Port Container Terminal railway yard and associated container handling equipment to provide a complete solution, with a total contract value of about 350 million yuan.

LAEM CHABANG PORT locate in northern coast of the Gulf of Thailand ranks, Thailand Port Authority own directly management for it,, is a fully functional, modern port with the Thai domestic rail, road and inland waterway connected to the network, may apply to the whole territory of Thailand to implement rapid distribution. Increased year by year the number of international container liner in LAEM CHABANG PORT, LLAEM CHABANG PORT has become a highly modern, automated, integrated management and operation of port infrastructure standard in Southeast Asia, and its influence is growing international container hub port.

The contract is a major breakthrough in the field of lifting equipment, it remarks that Weihua has a strong competitive strength in the field of international high-level port crane.  With the implementation of the project, we will set up branches in Thailand, and will have a sound market development and service capabilities in the near further, can cover the whole Southeast Asian region and Thailand, Weihua  will open up market of special vehicles, precision machining, mining machines, construction corrosion and other business besides cranes.

On July 7, the good news came from the general office of the national ministry of industry and information, 55 national well-known enterprises such as Haier, Huawei and our Group, have successfully passed the assessment of the first (in 2011 ) national technology innovation demonstration enterprises, and won the titles once again.

The national technology innovation demonstration enterprises are identified by the ministry of industry and information and the ministry of finance, which have strong technological innovative ability and have outstanding performance in innovation, carry out dynamic management,  appraisal review was done once every three years. In 2011, we were identified the first national technology innovation demonstration enterprises, and have passed the appraisal review this year, which marks that technical innovation of our Group continue to be at the forefront in the whole country.

We have attached importance to technology innovation for many years, and strive to build and form the innovation culture of the enterprise. At present, we have national recognized technical test center, national certified enterprise technology center, post-doctoral research center, the academician workstation, and with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University of Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University, Zhengzhou University and other universities to establish a long-term stable cooperative relations. Our group undertook a number of national torch program projects and 863 plan such as the lightweight critical technology research project of overhead crane and gantry crane, the critical technology research project of new intelligent grab dredger, had owned 344 patent certificates, and have become an enterprise with the largest number of patents in cranes industry.

This honor is a significant symbol of strong independent innovation capacity and industrial competitiveness. It has a great influence in the field of economic technology field,which can help enterprises take charge of national project. Our group will take good advantage of this honor,persist in science development,aim at international frontier and make critical technology integrate with markets. We will continue to strengthen coordination of science and technology system,improve motivation system,strengthen the effort in personnel training and encourage innovation.
